Yellow Seahorse

Yellow Seahorse - Honduras, 1996

This sweet little critter was about 6 inches if stretched out. I'm always taken by how vulnerable seahorses seem.

I remember watching this one's little neck move in and out while breathing. They wrap their tails around soft, or in the case hard corals and stay a long time unless bothered, because they're not very efficient swimmers. Enlarged a little you can see the glimmer in its eye.
