This baby is about 4 inches in length. The juveniles' dorsal fins are as long as their bodies; both are very flexible and fluid looking. They quickly flutter around in a territory of about a cubic yard, usually tucked back in the reef a bit. The adults are not spectacular to look at as the dorsal fin becomes a more usual size in relation to the body. Adults reach about 10 inches.
