Green Smasher Mantis Shrimp - Solomon Islands, 2005
Old alien eyes was about 5 1/2 inche long and caught out of its hole. These global eyes are not only unusual to look at but are very complex. They have 3 compartments each, can rotate 360 degrees and have been seen on stalks rising up from under the sand rotating like a periscope.
