Shrimp on White Carpet Anemone - Indonesia, 2003
This jewel-like shrimp was about 1 1/2 inches long. It's probably young as the body is so transparent.
It is on a carpet anemone, which has tentacles on the top side and smooth surface on the under side when open. It can wrap up into a ball shape for protection, showing mostly the smooth surface with a few tentacles sticking out the top. In this case it is mostly closed.
